Authoritarians have launched an all-out assault on our rights, our public infrastructure, our institutions, and our environment. No one can face this onslaught alone, and fortunately we don’t have to. Even at the statewide and local level, small nonprofit and unincorporated community organizations focused on specific causes have mobilized. Ordinary people who want their community, state, and nation to prosper are standing up for what is right — but they need our support.
That’s why Indivisible Iowa Johnson County proudly works alongside many statewide and local organizations to amplify their voices and actions for the general public. These organizations often staff tables or have public speakers at events organized by IJC. We also endeavor to support our allies with our Volunteer and Rapid Response teams to lend a hand as volunteers or drive attendance at their public events.
